Every wedding that we shoot is so much more than individual people and images. My approach to each family, bride and groom involved is predicated on telling the story of their day and the many precious, exciting, intense, silly, and cherished moments shared among all involved. I use my cameras to capture and describe the different personalities, style and artifacts of the day that punctuate each tear, smile and hug in a way that will make clients and their families smile, laugh and cry for many many years to come. . . .
I don't believe in posing and tilting and staging each moment in such a way that brings flashbacks of school portraits, as that can spoil the REAL moments - but I might suggest getting dressed near a window and "facing North instead of south" OR "come tie his tie over on the porch here" in order to get the best light for a particular moment.
These are just a few of the album layouts that some of our clients allow me curate and customize once the wedding is over and the prints have been delivered, the archival, heirloom-grade albums are sure to last for many generations.
